Its a shame most people don’t already know this. I knew it. I learned it in history classes in a liberal arts college 50 years ago. STEM is great, but without history, geography and civics our education system will just crank out more weapons, flesh robots (the cheapest kind), to do the bidding of the masters. Democracy, and an education system that gives people the perspective and the will to support it (constant vigilance is hard work) is not communism, socialism, or fascism. It is democracy. Ours is a representative democracy, a republic. Why do the MAGAs think that the authoritarian leader (dictator, supreme leader, king) that they are begging for is going to do anything to make their lives better?
